hey,
ive been asked to sell a ladies jewels on my fledgling jewellery site,i would purchase from her(in america)and sell them on my site(in the u.k)i would be buying them at cost.i was wondering what the legal remifications (if thats spelt right lol)are?what would be asked of me?what do i have to do?where i have to go!it cant be as easy as i think it is right now.any information anyone would give that would be great.

In order to protect yourself against any fraud, or troubles in future, you would need to get into a legal contract with that lady or company, whosoever is operating it.
secondly, instead of buying it first and selling on your website, you can start displaying it on your website, like images, description, assurance, price etc. and only a request order form from customer, once you see demand for these item, order it from america and sell it in UK. this process will not let you block your money, and help you resell only if you see good response on your website.
You can buy from her in form of letter of credit, this ensure, full safesty, that you will make payment and you will get your products.
